Could the Steelers Take Adam Carriker?
Foxsports.com’s latest mock draft highlights Nebraska defensive end Adam Carriker climbing up the board- all the way to the Steelers at pick 15:
Coach Mike Tomlin still hasn’t said whether he intends to employ the 3-4 or 4-3 defense next season. Carriker is a fit for either, with the ability to hold the edge or slide inside as a pass-rushing tackle.
Most people tend to agree that the Steelers will go defense in round one, and it appears that they are going to have their pick of some great players still on the board, whether they go cornerback, lineback, or defensive end. The real excitement might lie in what the player they choose signals are far as the future design of the defense. Or they could throw us all for a loop and pick a wide receiver or something.
